Despite having to endure a long journey, make sure you avoid drinking alcohol in flight. This may be on offer but drinking isn’t going to do you any good. Instead, you should choose to drink water at regular intervals as this will ease the stress and keep you hydrated, ensuring that you don’t feel sick. Keep a bottle of water at your disposal and keep taking sips from time to time.

You’ll need to ensure that your muscles don’t cramp. Make sure you take regular walks along the aisle. Stand up at intervals and stretch a bit.

Make sure your seat position is reclined instead of straight at all times. This will help in relaxing your back and takes off some of the pressure. Use ear plugs, air pillows and eye covers when resting as you can get sound sleep. Resting is a need, o make sure you sit back and take it easy for a while.

Since the flight duration is long, make sure you set your watch as per the timing to where you are flying. This way you can start practicing in flight and will not stress your body. If you’re going to arrive at night, there’s no need to force yourself to sleep. If you’re going to arrive during the day, make sure your body gets rest so you can start with the right foot forward upon arrival.
