It’s a well-known fact that the customer is always king in Las Vegas and the casinos will do almost anything to get you into their hotel. If you come in search of the cheapest destination in America, you’ll enjoy paying rock-bottom rates for accommodation at some of the nicest hotels and then hunting out the best buffet bargains with some starting at $5.99 per person! If it’s style you’re after, you can dine in the finest restaurants, shop in the most chic stores, and watch world-class entertainment; be aware that it may cost a pretty penny but not as much as it would anywhere else except for Disney World. The same guidelines apply all gambling and skill games within the casino.

The Las Vegas “Strip” strives to cater to those who want sophisticated high-roller benefits, where tuxedoed James Bond look-alikes toss huge bankrolls onto the roulette and blackjack tables. Others prefer their casinos to be sinful and seedy, inhabited by hard-bitten heavy-smoking low-life’s; there is no shortage of that type of joint either, especially downtown. Las Vegas has everything, from relaxing and romantic to thrill seeking and risky.

On the face of it, the city is supremely democratic. However you may be dressed, however affluent or otherwise you may appear, you’ll be welcomed in its stores, restaurants, and above all its casinos. The one thing you almost certainly won’t get, however, is the last laugh; all that seductive deference comes at a price. It would be nice to imagine that perhaps half of your fellow visitors are skilful gamblers, raking in the profits at the tables, while the other half are losing, but the bottom line is that almost nobody’s winning.

Shimmering brightly from the vast desert of central Nevada, Las Vegas is the most dynamic, spectacular, and easily the most entertaining city on planet Earth. Since the start of the 20th century, it didn’t even exist; at the start of the twenty-first, it then became home to home to a population of over one million people, with enough new residents arriving to need a new school every single month. Las Vegas is not like other cities. No other city in history has so explicitly valued the needs and requests of visitors above those of its own population, the city of Las Vegas. All of Vegas’ growth has been credited by the immense growth of the tourism industry, but the tourists haven’t spoiled the actual city since there is no real city, only the outlying city of Henderson that does boast some popular attractions itself.

The entertainment capital, Las Vegas doesn’t have fascinating small town like neighborhoods, and it’s not a place where visitors can go off the beaten track to have more authentic experiences. There are places where you can venture outside of the city such as the beautiful Mount Charleston and the Valley of Fire Canyon. Also, the whole tourism industry is completely self-referential; the reason Las Vegas hosts most of the vast majority of the world’s largest hotels and resorts and that is estimated to be around thirty-seven million tourists each year come to see the hotels themselves.

Each and every one of these huge gigantic hotels is much more than a mere hotel, and more too than the casino that invariably lies at its core. They are filled with restaurants and bars, night clubs and other activities. They’re simply extraordinary places, some self-contained fantasylands which are encompassing genuine excitement that can stretch as much as a mile from end to end. Each hotel keeps its own flamboyant reputation of showrooms, bars, and swimming pools, some of the words best rooms and living areas, thrilling rides and boasting the best attractions.

Don’t forget the Casinos. The casinos want you to gamble, and they’ll do almost anything to lure you in; thus the huge moving walkways that pluck you from the Strip sidewalk, which will literally pick you up and sweep you into places The MGM Grand. Once you’re inside, the last thing the casino bosses want is for you to leave the gaming floor. So, whatever you came in for, you can definitely count on passing through the casino floor plenty of times.

As one of the most beautiful spots to view landscape in Nevada, the Red Rock Canyon is a vast valley where magazine shoots and movie productions occur as a stunning backdrop. The magical hot air balloon rides. Usually a few rolls of blackjack will wake you up, but when you drive to the launch site and meet with the professional staff and crew, no slot machine can get your adrenaline pumping as much as this adventure.

One of the best freebies in Vegas is by far the Fremont Street Experience. As many activities in Vegas can become quite pricy, this one blows the competition out of the water. As the old glory days of Vegas hosted the old fashioned Benny Binion hotels, they were all situated on Fremont Street. As time went by, the newer hotels grew farther and farther away down from Fremont street down onto the actual strip. However, over the past 10 years, the Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino have revitalized the Fremont area and the district has something for everyone. The main attraction happens nightly.

As you stand under Fremont Street, an amazing light show with a huge projection shows many fascinating techniques and is a wonder for anyone who experiences this show. The show is free and has no general admission as it is standing room only for everyone who is currently on Fremont street and the actual screen covers everyone overhead. You cannot find anything else like this show anywhere else on earth, unless your able to find a 200-yard long television screen.

Las Vegas is probably the most exciting city I have ever had the pleasure of visiting in my life, and that is only the night life. I can not think of another city in the world, except for maybe New York City, that has the same level of atmosphere, life and energy. Las Vegas is paradise for a tourist, offering anything and everything your heart could ever desire. If you take one of the popular Las Vegas Tours available throughout the city you’ll know what I mean.

The first and most obvious reasons for going to Las Vegas are the casinos, bars, and clubs. Las Vegas offers the most diversified and stunning nightlife of anywhere else in the world. As soon as the sun sets, Las Vegas is just waking up. Just walking down the main casino strip is a spectacle all of its own. If you stand at one end of the strip and look down to the other end, all you will see is the flashing of millions of neon lights in more colors than you ever though imaginable. The atmosphere of Las Vegas is like nothing else I have ever experienced. There is always something going on. Whether it is a casino, night club, or one of the world class Las Vegas Shows, you will never be with a dull moment.

In my opinion, Las Vegas provides the best of everything. With developers always pushing the envelope and trying to out do each other, you can be sure that the service being offered to you is world class, even of you aren‘t a high roller.
